Diet Analysis Part 4

The alkaline diet is a diet meant for athletes. But is not restricted for only athletes, whether you are a very athletic or a non- athletic person, it is important for you to recognize what food are beneficial for your body and which foods are not.

After studying this diet, I have learned that is it important for us to take care of our health by eating the right foods and essential vitamins that our bodies need. After monitoring my diet, I noticed that I mostly consume carbohydrates.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always struggled with my health. I have always been anemic and have had chronic migraines. I learned that certain foods benefit and negatively impact my health. I recently had to see a dietician to help me figure out a decent meal plan that will hopefully improve my medical condition.

According to the AAA Diet, the alkaline diet is a diet that targets foods with enzymes that are immensely affected by the pH balance levels in our human blood and body tissue. he goals of this diet is to avoid eating food that turn into empty calories. For example, foods with a lot of acid usually turn into empty calories. The Alkaline Diet if followed correctly, will supply the body with enough nutrients including vitamins and minerals.

After completing a diet analysis, I realized that I need to focus more on getting the right vitamins that I need and eat less carbs. This project analysis was very eye opening because it made me more aware of my health and eating habits.
